The Tara Lee brand was founded in February 1989, by our exclusive Designer Gloria Bretland. Back then the company was trading as Gloria B Designs. Creating exclusive one of garments for friends and family.
The growth of our company increased rapidly to a point, were we started the Tara Lee label for our exclusive range through our own retail outlet.
Our popularity grew through word of mouth, and our designs became increasingly popular with the public in the North West Of England.
Everyone wanted a Tara Lee exclusive design for their children.
The first stage of expansion occurred when we set up our first retail outlet in Wallasey in 1991, as a result our popularity continued to increase.
In 1991 due to demand we moved into our first purpose built factory. At this time we also had a change in direction to manufacturing for store groups.
At present we operate from our own premises Tara Lee House in Wallasey, just a stones throw from where it all began.
